Where we start
Period, electricity and fuel consumption, kilometres travelled or activity performed. We check the completeness and provenance of data, distinguishing measurements from estimates.

We believe responsibility towards people and places belongs in everyday decisions. We build a pathway that turns this intention into priorities, data and verifiable actions.
We prepare reports on emissions and reductions associated with energy and mobility projects. For businesses embarking on an ESG programme, and for anyone who simply wants to understand and improve their impact.
We start with real consumption and activity data, define a reference for comparison and make assumptions explicit. The resulting report helps you choose interventions, track their effects and communicate them on verifiable grounds.

The starting situation and the project, at an equivalent level of service and with the necessary adjustments for use, production or climate. Emission factors include their source, year, unit and geographical scope.
Emissions in kilograms or tonnes of CO₂ equivalent, differences against the reference, limitations and indicators to update. Future outcomes remain scenarios until operating data have been checked.
For mobility, we distinguish tailpipe emissions, energy used and the vehicle’s life cycle. For a business, we define which activities and sources the report covers, avoiding double counting between fuel and electricity.
A project report has a different scope from a company’s complete emissions inventory. Emissions avoided against an alternative scenario are reported separately from the inventory. Any independent verification is a separate engagement.
Methodological references: GHG Protocol · emissions from purchased energy and IEA · vehicle life cycles. The applicable method and sources are specified in each report.
Donatello is taking a carbon management course to deepen his understanding of emissions and reduction pathways. The training is ongoing and is not yet an awarded qualification. It builds on his everyday experience of analysing consumption, energy and mobility.
We start with available data and business priorities. We connect consumption, investments and indicators to build a gradual pathway with understandable goals and defined responsibilities.
Collecting and organising energy and environmental data, highlighting the information still needed.
Priorities, resources, timelines and scenarios for efficiency, electrification and mobility.
Support for monitoring and documenting progress, with specialist partners where needed.
kWh, euros, power demand and environmental indicators describe different aspects of the same project. Emissions estimates require an explicit boundary, factors and reference period. Each indicator should support a decision and be capable of being updated.
Reduction opportunities are assessed through changes to consumption and activities. Any offsetting projects require a specific review of documentation, boundaries and traceability. These elements remain separate in both the work and its communication.
Share your goals and available data: together we will identify a useful first step.
