See the heat and plan maintenance
VAMPA is Repower’s thermal inspection service. It remotely detects abnormal temperatures in electrical equipment. The report interprets the measurements and identifies any maintenance priorities. New installations also deserve attention: a faulty connection or excessive load can become apparent during operation.
Italy’s OT23 2027 scheme
INAIL recognises additional safety improvements carried out in 2026. Thermography falls under A-4.1, type B. Eligibility requires two distinct type B measures or one type A measure. VAMPA can therefore form part of a programme checked with the company’s safety adviser and INAIL intermediary.
The reduction applies to the average insurance tariff rate, subject to requirements and approval. After the first two years, it ranges from 28% to 5%, depending on worker-years for the territorial insurance position (PAT); during the first two years, it is 8%. Actual savings must be calculated for the company.
What is needed
- Compliance with contribution, insurance and workplace health and safety obligations.
- A signed and stamped technical statement by an authorised professional or technical manager, explaining the inspection’s purpose and conditions.
- A 2026 inspection and report: at least Level 1 certification for the surveyor and Level 2 for the report author under UNI EN ISO 9712, TT method; dated and timed visible-light and infrared images.
- Evidence of any corrective work and of the additional qualifying measure.
Key dates
